Posted: Tue May 12, 2009 8:52 am Post subject: VETS REQUIRED FOR INTERNATIONAL EVENT

We a company called The Adventurists (www.theadventurists.com) and we have just launched a new event - the Mongol Derby (www.mongolderby.com), the Worlds Longest Horse Race. The event sees 25 riders racing over a 1000km long course in Mongolia, changing horses every 40km. Champion Jockey Richard Dunwoody is leading the pre-race training and is also competing in the event alongside Ben Fogle. We are requiring 2 qualified vets who are willing to travel to Mongolia and follow the event by Jeep in the case of any horse requiring veterinary care. The event takes place in August, and vets would be required for a period of 3 weeks. For further information please email lamorna [at] theadventurists [dot] com
