Cat Protection Calenders for Christmas presents
Posted on Tuesday, November 09 @ 14:40:12 GMT by jenvetadmin

ECards jenvetnurse writes "Cats Protection’s calendars – the ultimate in feline pin-ups!

ö Stuck for what to buy the cat lover who has everything?

ö Want to support the work of the UK’s largest feline welfare charity?

Here’s the purr-fect solution! By purchasing a Cats Protection 2005 calendar you are guaranteed to bring joy to your feline-loving friend this Christmas, and will enable the charity to continue helping cats in need – both now and in the future.

Two stunning Cats Protection calendars are available this year – a month-to-view A4-sized cat version with room for daily appointments, and, the slimline kitten appointment calendar complete with removable postcards.

Whether you fall under the spell of Sputnik’s mature Buddha-like wisdom (Mr April in the cat calendar), or indulge in the playful charms of Amber (Miss August in the kitten version), you can enjoy a year of simple, but utterly delightful, feline-related pleasures at very reasonable cost!

The cat calendar (code 4045) is priced at just £4.75, with the slimline kitten version (code 4046) costing £3.75 (plus 95 pence p&p per order). Credit/debit card orders can be placed by calling 08707 708 624. Alternatively, send a cheque or postal order made payable to CPL Enterprises Ltd, quoting code and quantity required, to: CPL ENTERPRISES AT THE NATIONAL CAT CENTRE, CHELWOOD GATE, HAYWARDS HEATH RH17 7TT.

Cats Protection is the UK’s largest and oldest feline welfare charity, rehoming around 60,000 cats a year through its nationwide network of 29 Cat Adoption Centres and 260 Branches. Profits from the sale of Cats Protection calendars will be used to further the organisation’s objectives throughout the UK i.e. rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats in need, promoting feline neutering and increasing understanding and awareness of cat care issues.

1. Issued by Emma Osborne, Cats Protection’s PR Manager.

Tel: 01403 221 934. E-mail: emma.osborne@cats.org.uk (media queries only).

2. Please contact Emma if you would like a hard copy of the calendar, or would like to see some digital images of the feline pin-up’s.

3. The images used in the calendars are past entries from the charity’s annual photo competitions. Some of the cats are also Cats Protection rescues.

4. Every month’s feline pin-up is accompanied by a quirky, individual account of the cat’s purr-ticular foibles, guaranteed to be universally appreciated by cat lovers.

ö Mr March (cat calendar): Although TC is a great respecter of birds (letting them walk round the garden undisturbed) she does have a fascination for a mouse – of the computer kind! TC loves to join her owner at the computer, preferably sitting right on top of the monitor.

ö Miss June (kitten calendar): Cleo appreciates the smell of flowers as she is blind. She was found dumped in a carrier bag on the street, but she is happy now in her new home which she shares with a blind hamster.

ö Masters September (kitten calendar) Bracken and Bramble were going to be drowned if no homes could be found for them. Fortunately, a lovely home was found. Their new owner didn’t realise how dangerous washing up could be until she had Bracken and Bramble clawing their way up her legs!
