Bitch Spays

It has always been recommended that bitches should be spayed after their first season.
The current way of thinking is to spay before the first season.
There seems to be some confusion here as not all vets are following the new advice.
It is confusing for clients.
Spaying them before the first season, at 4-5 months is simpler and the incidence of mammary cancer can be reduced.
