Himalayan Goral
Posted on Tuesday, September 11 @ 19:44:23 BST by jenvetadmin

wild goral Himalayan Goral are short-horned antelopes with a brownish coloured coat mixed with a touch of black.
It's scientific name is 'Naemorhedus Goral' and it is located at about 1000 to 3000 meter heights in India, Pakistan, and Nepal etc.
It belongs to Family Bovidae and Order Artiodactyla.
Personally I love to treat this animal; it looks so innocent and cute. I have never personally observed these animals coming into conflict with humans, at least in my area. But during the heavy rains I have observed them coming down to the human inhabited places and getting injured.
At this point, these are rescued by the villagers and forest officials who then present them to the local veterinary institutes for treatment.
The cute Goral shown in this image was presented for treatment in the unconscious state, but it responded very well to the treatment and luckily recovered very well within an hour of the treatment.
I felt so happy while observing this innocent cute wild creature recovering and going back with Forest officials.
