Veterinary Polyclinic Bhuntar is small clinical institute of Government of Himachal Pradesh, India situated in beautiful Kullu valley.
It is meant for imparting specialized veterinary services to the Kullu District.
Many new and referral cases are daily treated here for various ailments including infertility.
The animals presented include pets, livestock as well as wild ones. A team of three specialized vets for pathology, surgery and medicine, two pharmacists, some helping staff headed by an Assistant Director under the supervision of Deputy Director Kullu takes care of the patients presented in Polyclinic as well as in the camps under the Department of Animal Husbandry Himachal Pradesh.
The vets of this polyclinic have been appreciated for reducing the stray cow menace & infertility in cows (local project), involvement in design of Zoological Information Management System (global project), and also for providing some help in education material for reducing monkey menace published by South Asian Primate Network and Zoo Outreach Organisation.
