Are you aware that CEVA Animal Health created a D.A.P. Collar.
This is great news I am sure you will agree. It is certainly an improvement on using a bandana with Dap spray on it.
Clients find DAP invaluable and it is also useful in practice.
DAP spray, diffuser or collar are often recommended for a range of situations. For example to calm dogs showing fear related reactions outside the home (fireworks, traffic, other dogs, thunderstorms etc.) help puppies adjust to a new home and also to help when a dog is re-homed or in kennels.
D.A.P collars last around a month and release a stream of synthetic dog appeasing pheromone. The pheromone is proven to have a positive relaxing and reassuring affect on dogs it can increasing their confidence in new or challenging environments.
Combining D.A.P.® Collar with D.A.P.® Diffuser may provide optimum results for dogs showing indoor and outdoor fears and for puppies or adult dogs settling into a new home. In multi-dog households, it is recommended that all the dogs wear a D.A.P.® Collar or that a D.A.P.® Diffuser used. The D.A.P.® Collar should be left on the dog at all times.
