The RSPCA is asking you to please give generously as our frontline staff battle to help animals affected by the floods across England and Wales.
Environment Secretary Hillary Benn (pictured) met with members of the RSPCA's emergency team on Thursday, 26 July, to thank them for their work bringing aid to animals trapped or affected by the flooding, and for the assistance they have provided to other emergency services.

The RSPCA has been stretched to the limit - figures for Wednesday, 25 July show we have so far helped up to 3,000 animals, had requests for water for 5,616 animals, and rescued 62 people.
RSPCA officers are working alongside the emergency services and the Red Cross, continuing to rescue animals and their owners in distress, transporting paramedics and electrical engineers.
"Large numbers of people simply have no access to clean water, and we're desperately doing whatever we can to help keep animals alive and make sure they don't suffer."
