Repeat Breeder cows
Posted on Thursday, February 08 @ 20:42:56 GMT by jenvetadmin

Cow painandrelief writes "At some places where there is lots of bovine (especially cow) practice, a common problem that is encountered by vets is Repeat Breeding. I will put in brief a little about some lines of treatment for them.

The cases which come out be otherwise anatomically and physically normal, following lines of treatment work very well according to my personal experience.

Line.1--Intrauterine treatment with 0.1% lugol's iodine on the day of heat.

Line.2--Intrauterine treatment with 0.1% lugol's iodine on the day of heat.

---Induction of estrus by giving PGF2alpha at day 12th of heat and Artificial insemination on 3rd and 4th day psot PGF2alpha treatment because it induces heat by CL lysis.

Line.3.The animals which do not give milk, also conceive after artificial induction of lactation as it causes priming of the reproductive tract.

There are more lines too, that I may discuss in my coming articles.
