VN's in practice
Posted on Thursday, November 09 @ 22:16:15 GMT by jenvetadmin

Vet Nurse The new survey is on how vet nurses are treated in practice. This will be interesting to see how people vote. Some nurses have very fair terms and are treated well by their boses/other vets. Some do work for a pittance and are not appreciated at all. I have worked in many different scenarios. In every place I have worked though the vets work less hours and have great cars and homes - the nurses work longer hours, rent and drive rusty heaps! ALso the vns get little recognition and clients simply say 'Don't you want to be a vet?' Most clients have no appreciation for Vet Nursing as a career - but I think awareness is gradually circulating. Please vote and express your views in the forums.
