Press release from Cats Protection
Posted on Tuesday, August 29 @ 12:54:15 BST by jenvetadmin

Cats Protection jenner writes "Airport kitten lands on her feet thanks to Cats Protection
A kitten found dumped in an airport terminal recently can look forward to a much brighter future, thanks to the local Branch of Cats Protection.
Tiny Bumbles, a gorgeous grey female kitten, was abandoned in a plastic bag at Stansted airport two weeks ago after being reportedly smuggled into the UK from Spain.
But, thanks to the Colne Valley Branch of Cats Protection, the travelling feline will now get all the help she needs. The charity is generously financing Bumble’s six-month quarantine stay, and will then take care of her until a loving, permanent home can be found.
“Bumbles is happily recovering from her ordeal thanks to veterinary assistance and good food,” explained John Hopkins, co-ordinator of Cats Protection’s Colne Valley Branch. “She is a gorgeous kitten and is full of energy, despite what she’s been through. I’m sure she will win a few hearts when it comes to finding her a new home in six months time,” he added.
As the Colne Valley Branch is entirely self-funding, donations to help pay for Bumble’s quarantine and after care would be greatly appreciated. Cheques made payable to Colne Valley Cats Protection can be sent to: Mr J Hopkins, 1 Cherry Gardens, Cobbs Fenn, Sible Hedingham, Halstead, Essex, CO9 3RY.
Telephone enquiries regarding Bumbles can be directed to the charity’s Helpline on 08702 099 099. Please note that Bumbles cannot be rehomed until she has completed her six-month quarantine stay at the end of April.
Colne Valley Cats Protection is part of a nationwide network of 260 voluntary-run Branches and 29 Centres that together rehome around 60,000 cats every year.
